The Exhibition and Sale Dedicated to the Arts of Asia
THE PAGODA 8-12 June
For the first time, the Parisian rendez-vous dedicated to Asian art will expand beyond the borders of France. Specialised French gallerists and antiques dealers will welcome their international counterparts for a collective exhibition at the Pagoda, former home of the notorious Chinese dealer and collector Ching Tsai Loo (1880-1957), better known as C. T. Loo. The emblematic building, with its red-ochre façade and Chinese-inspired architectural elements, nestled in the heart of the Haussmannian district of the Plaine Monceau, resonates to Asian art lovers throughout the world.
Organised in partnership with the Asian Art Society, this exhibition will be held in a sumptuous interior with Shanxi lacquer panels and welcomes the US gallery Clare Chu Asian Art, the UK exhibitors Brandt Asian Ltd, Malcolm Fairley Ltd, Grace Tsumugi Fine Art and Sue Ollemans, the Irish auction house Adam's Auctioneers along with the French galleries Nicolas Fournery, Galerie Hioco, Alexis Renard and the international auction house Christie’s. All our participants will unveil their most beautiful and treasured Asian artworks.
