Hayashi Kodenji I
A massive cloisonné enamel charger finely worked in silver wire with a hawk perched on a flowering cherry branch beneath trailing wisteria and above othe flowers including peonies and chrysanthemum, the border with stylised dragons and ho-o in reserves flecked with aventurine.

Although unsigned, this group of massive chargers can be attributed to Hayashi Kodenji I. The design of a similar charger is illustrated in Shippo no Moyo (designs for cloisonné) by Toshimitsu Hayashi, 1977, p.18
